Going Green
In today's economy, “going green” is not only environmentally beneficial, but also cost-effective. We are making strides to ensure clean and safe performances from all our vehicles. We have a well designed and implemented maintenance program, ensuring all quarterly and annual inspections are performed on time. Both tractors and trailers must pass rigorous inspections before being dispatched. This eliminates most common over-the-road issues associated with break-downs, pollution, and other violations that lead to poor CSA scores. By ensuring trucks are running effectively, we save time spent with on-the-road repairs. We are currently running Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) on most company trucks, cutting back on pollution emitted during idle time. As a result, we are EPA SmartWay certified.
